Just like employers or establishments enjoy certain rights, employees also have rights provided by EPFO. These rights makes the system more transparent and also makes it convenient for employees to get insightful information related to their PF accounts.

Employees are entitled to get detailed annual statement report of Provident Fund regularly.
Employees are provided claim form for free at any regional EPF office.
Employees are also provided free assistance or guidance by EPF office related to filling up forms.
Employees are also allowed to submit claim applications on their own and upon submission they are provided acknowledgement receipt, number or token.
Employees can also opt for partial withdrawals from PF amount that is settled within a time period of 30 days for specified purposes.
Employees are allowed to get final withdrawals from PF that is settled within 30 days from the date of submission of Provident Fund claim.
Employees are provided provident fund amount transfer facility to new PF account within 30 days after the application of change of employer is submitted.
Employees can execute nomination for getting PF amount/pension to register grievance complaint and also get redressal within 30 days.
Employees can approach any EPFO officer to resolve PF grievance issues for establishment that comes under EPFo jurisdiction and for exempted establishments as well.
Employees are also provided monthly payment of pension under the PF pension scheme.
